Hi and Welcome! I’m Melissa. I’m married to Nathan, and we have 5 lovely children. We homeschool, homestead, and…thanks to the military, find ourselves relocating from time to time.
At the heart of our homestead is a commitment to live as closely as possible to the way we believe God intended. We strive to use the resources and materials He has provided, embracing a lifestyle that honors His creation. It's not always easy, but it's always worth it.
We have a homestead that is not picture perfect, but it’s perfect for us. We have built it and moved it a few times, creating what we jokingly refer to as a “pop-up” homestead. We want to help you learn that, where there’s a will, the way just sometimes requires a bit of creativity….but you, too, can start!
